Welcome to Vodka and Biscuits, a food blog occasionally featuring vodka, but rarely biscuits – I eat them better than I can make them.
I created this blog in 2012 while a junior in college to share simple college-friendly meals.
I live in Maryland with my husband Scott and our two dogs, Barley and Buster.
Scott recently celebrated seventeen years in the Coast Guard, though he’s my full-time taste tester and hand model. My business partner and I recently celebrated the seventh anniversary of our restaurant, The Nook Cafe. You can read all about The Nook here!
Life looks a lot different than it did many years ago, but as life changed, our love for food has not. We love nothing more than our family and friends, especially bringing them together around the dinner table. I will encourage hosting a dinner party often throughout my recipes. I have a collection of cookbooks that I admire, and you will see several of my favorite recipes shared in my blog.
I have the privilege of pursuing a fulfilling career that allows me to share my passion for food, and here, I can share the recipes that bring that passion to life.
